Promised Land Camp
We are a well established family camp situated on the South Shore of Lake Nipissing. Promised Land Camp was established in 1936 by the Moore Family and has had many great owners between them and us. Interestingly, many of our clients have seen most if not all of the previous owners and continue to come back generation after generation. The eagerness of our clients to return and their desire to share Promised Land Camp with us and their closest friends and family make owning Promised Land Camp a dream come true.
- Linda & Henning Andersen, Camp Hosts
Snow (30–46 cm.) tomorrow through next Monday, with high temperatures rising to 2°C on Wednesday.
Lake Nipissing is rated as one of the top ten walleye lakes in Ontario as well as one of the best pike lakes in the province and one of the best kept secrets in Northern Ontario for bass fishing. Muskie fishing is excellent and catching jumbo perch and other pan fish is great fun as well.
Our secluded cottages are nestled among large pine and maple trees on a picturesque peninsula, overlooking Fish Bay on the South Shore of Lake Nipissing. Most of them are located right at the waterfront, with southwestern exposure and our guests drive right to their door.
There is a calling to Promised Land Camp which gets into your soul so it becomes a very special place for rejuvenation, relaxation and fun. It's a comfortable and safe environment for fishing, relaxing by the beach, taking a hike on the trails, bird or wild life watching and much more.
